(Edit: I have been contacted by the owner of BC-Casino in response to this post. While this assessment of his software is not off the mark, he assures me that he wishes to stick around for the long-run and that all players will have a fair and enjoyable gaming experience.)
"If it looks too good to be true, it probably is."
-Some smart guy.
BC-Casino.com is a fraud.
Indications that something is amiss:
- The rampant grammar errors on the front page. No one puts that much money into a website without hiring someone to check their English;
- There is no Playtech logo or 'Powered by Playtech' which is on all legit sites;
- There is no licensing around the contact info;
- The name they list, "Global Entertainment Services Limited," is close to the name of a Kahnawake commission permit holder, but not the same entity;
- Not the normal login field, in the Flash or the download version;
- The installer is not the one Playtech uses. Playtech uses a branded installer with the logo from the casino, and not a standard installer like BC-Casino uses;
- The number keypad where you have to type your username and password is not from Playtech;
- If you look at this slotgame preview, the video is hosted on Class1casino, not BC-Casino.com. This means Class1casino (recently closed) silently opened a new outfit, or they sold the sourcecode. It is also possible that BC-Casino ripped off the code and forgot to change the domain name to their own.
Be cautious if you decide to deposit money to this site - you may never see it again. Playtech has been contacted for further investigation.
Yes it does seem suspicious. Especially when you realize that they don't even know how bitcoin works.
ReplyDeleteFrom the withdrawal section of their front page:
"The withdrawal will be processed immediately upon request and will use your last depositing Bitcoin Address for the transfer back to your account."
I'm thinking that they rebranded. The guy behind the site has a basic understanding of the law surrounding gambling online... as flawed as his knowledge is.
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a scam site.
ReplyDeletecasino online
I've been playing there since 2 week and had already multiple deposits & cashouts with no issues.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why you think it's fraud but to me it makes no sense
MyBitcoin worked perfectly well for a long time before the trigger was pulled. You've been warned.
ReplyDelete"I've been playing there since 2 week and had already multiple deposits & cashouts with no issues.

How do they do withdrawals? Do they allow you to specify the address you want the coins sent to?
When pressing on withdrawal the bonus money is removed and the money was sent back to my wallet instantly, they use the address that made the deposit to pay back, all is fully automated i assume.
ReplyDeleteYou can try it out without playing money IN/OUT won't cost anything
I think it's a shame they don't allow one to specify an alternate address.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I read through your blog! So what is the verdict on this? Scam? The red flag to me is the automatic scrolling thing on the right hand side that says "more than 100 casino games!" and it's mentioning..
ReplyDeleteBiggest win this month (for that game)
BTC 55.00 - Columbia
BTC 150,00 - Austria <-- why the use of a comma on some?
BTC 235,00 - some random country
BTC 185.00 - UK
BTC 120.00 - France
like there are THOUSANDS of Bitcoin winnings just rolling by your eyes like, really, did someone from Egypt win 169 BTC on X-Men? Isn't this site BRAND new? Someone in Argentina won 226.00 BTC? I think not.
I have seen 7K bitcoins in a single transaction through blockchain.info... I have seen one persons info on their wallet that had almost 3 quarters of a million bitcoins in it. There are a LOT of bitcoins out there, and I have no problem believing these "small" jackpots are really being hit.
DeleteNot necessarily a scam but there are a lot of red flags. That being said, no one has been ripped off.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the freedom that comes with Bitcoin is a double-edged sword, and anyone can launch a service, no matter how sketchy looking. Caveat emptor.
I have more red flags for you: BC Casino offers a no-strings-attached 20% deposit bonus. No-strings-attached as in they don't impose the normal betting requirements like some casinos do.
ReplyDeleteWhat this means is that you can bet 1 BTC on Red in Roulette, and if you win, you can withdraw 1.2 BTC, and if you lose, you're only out 1 BTC. This works out to an advantage for the player. BC-casino will lose all of its money and go out of business..... UNLESS the game is rigged to not let you win.
I tested this on European roulette. I played 7 spins, betting my entire 1-BTC deposit and .2BTC bonus on Black each time. I lost six times.
It is not no strings attached. When you cash out no matter how high you ran your balance, the bonus you received is deducted from your withdrawable amount.
DeleteIn my previous comment, I meant you can withdraw 2.4 BTC, not 1.2.
ReplyDeleteDamn it, I meant 2.2.
ReplyDeletethe bonus given is removed when you withdraw so your 0.2 BTC would be taken away when you cashout your 2.2 leaving you with 2 BTC so they wont go bankrupt the increased odds from the bonus is in fact marginal.
ReplyDeleteNo, because your balance after the winning spin is 1.2*2 = 2.4, not 2.2. When you cash out and the bonus is subtracted, you're left with 2.2, which is more than marginal for a game with a low house edge, such as Roulette. To be precise, the expected value is:
ReplyDelete18/37*1.2 - 19/37*1 = +0.0702 BTC per 1 BTC whole-deposit wager. Considering that the normal EV is only -0.02, this means you have a bigger advantage over the house than they would have over you without the bonus, PROVIDED that you always bet your entire deposit + bonus.
Or, more probably, the game is rigged to prevent an advantage. In fact, try this: Deposit 1 BTC in a new account, and then bet the entire 12-credit balance on black. I GUARANTEE it will come up red.
I just hope that the website owner was able to make changes to its website. Many people want and love to play online games like Casino, and it involves money. I think they should give the worth of the player's money.
ReplyDeletepoker tips
I have deposited 1BTC, ran it up to 36 BTC on video poker in a few hours time. However, after I signed out and logged back in after the win, I was getting an inordinate amount of hands that statistically are rare, but would come up almost every time. So, yes, I have deposited, and I did withdraw 30 bitcoins from them. I was nervous, but the coins showed up instantly. With that said... I believe this casino operates on two modes. Random and Rigged. I think if you win too much, there is a circuit breaker that kicks it over to rigged scripts. No where in any of the documentation does the site declare you are receiving a fair and random game... And while I was winning, the game was random. I came back and the game was not behaving within the parameters of a 52 card deck in 5 card draw like video poker is supposed to behave. I have played video poker for a living for years, so it's not the "I am losing so it must be rigged" attitude that people express all too often. Bottom line is... Don't expect random results, the way it operates is more in line with "video pulltabs" at times.
ReplyDeleteRight now, Satoshi Dice is our first-hand choice. Sooner or later, gambling with Bitcoins will definitely become way safer and maybe even more self-regulated for sure. Just have a look at the real money industry and how everyone in poker but a handful of operators literally died over the years
