They just had to get that Silk Road smear in there. Guns are not sold on Silk Road, contrary to what the judge's guest said here.
US dollar is not backed by precious metal either, what is your point?
You guys are being rediculous. That was an excellent feature story about Bitcoin on primetime Fox Business. Both Napolitano and Brito are CLEARLY enthusiastic and supportive of Bitcoin. And indeed if you knew either of them before this show you'd know that was true, regardless. The mention of Silk Road was not a smear, but a valid response to the question of legal comments made by politicians thus far. Brito brought it up to point out the absurdity of lawmakers focusing on the currency instead of the actions with which the currency is used.
+1 for Erik Voorhees once again!I love the new look of this website. Good source for Bitcoin news!
"Guns are not sold on Silk Road"Are you sure?
I have seen a screenshot of Silk Road in a YouTube video where "weaponry" was a listed item. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=1ZAFGRrp_kc#t=381s
Just because there is a "weaponry" category doesn't mean guns are sold on silkroad. However, there are 21 offers in this category. Most of them are knives, throwing stars, cross bows and the like.Currently, there are no guns offered.
